WIR SIND RICHTER! WE ARE RICHTER!

Wer es noch nicht getan hat, der sollte den 80. Geburtstag Gerhard Richters als Anlass nehmen, um einen, besser mehrere Blicke auf die aktuell laufende Ausstellung in der Neuen Nationalgalerie in Berlin, zu werfen. Gerhard Richter zeigt in Panorama, der Ausstellungstitel ist bewusst der allzu rückwärts verbundenen Retrospektive vorgezogen, eine beeindruckende Auswahl an Malereien und installativen Arbeiten, welche im Kontext der Malerei als Kunstmedium stehen.
Sehr zu empfehlen ist ein zweigeteilter Besuch, welcher eine geführte Tour und einen anschließenden Rundgang beinhalten. Die eine Stunde der geführten Tour war kurzweilig, unterhaltsam und auch für der Kunstvokabeln weniger mächtigen interessierten Besuchern sehr gut verständlich.

Einzig....das Ostkind fragt nach den Bildern, welche vor 1962 entstanden, wohlwissend ob der schwierigen Thematik.

If you are in Berlin these days, you should use the cause of Gerhard Richters 80th birthday and visit his exhibition in the Neue Nationalgalerie. Gerhard Richter shows in Panorama an excellent assortment of paintings and his installationa and works which are broaching the issue of painting and what is painting and how act painting or are there borders in painting.
You should take the advantage of a guided tour before you take a tour on your own.
